Our Roots: From the Flathead to Billings

Though I was raised in Billings, I spent over 23 years raising my own family right here in the Flathead Valley. When I eventually returned to Billings in 2018, I saw a deep, unmet need for accessible transportation. This sparked the beginning of Billings Environmentally Sustainable Transportation (BEST), operating as Repedal.

What started as a grassroots effort quickly became a lifeline. Through DIY workshops, I worked side-by-side with individuals who were truly starting over—including the homeless community and those newly released from incarceration. We weren’t just fixing bikes; we were providing the mobility needed to reach jobs, appointments, and new opportunities. When the pandemic hit in 2020 and shifted our ability to hold workshops, I ensured our remaining bikes went to the Lame Deer Reservation, continuing our commitment to Montana's underserved communities.

A New Chapter: Back Home as "Memah"

Life has brought me back home to the Flathead Valley to be close to my family. Today, a huge part of my heart belongs to my three grandsons. As "Memah," watching them ride their bikes is a daily reminder that mobility is joy.

To keep our mission sustainable, I launched EcoRideMt. By offering premium e-bikes, we generate the funds necessary to continue our nonprofit work. Every purchase you make directly supports our helmet donation program and our goal of providing reliable transportation to those rebuilding their lives across Montana.

Beyond the Bike: Kiss Photography

I believe community connection takes many forms. Alongside the bike shop, I run Kiss Photography, a professional mobile photobooth experience. Using custom backdrops and creative setups, we bring people together at festivals, schools, and local gatherings. While EcoRideMt moves the body, Kiss Photography captures the spirit—and together, these projects fund our charitable work and strengthen the social fabric of our Montana home.
